Most of my friends don’t seem to have their own sites or blogs, which is perfectly fine and understandable.  Once in a while, though, I come across a reader who just happens to be a bad-ass mofo with his/her own site.  Case in point:  http://www.chrismayagallery.com

Look upon his works, ye mighty, and despair.

This gal started out as a friend of a friend on Facebook, but it didn’t take long at all for her charm to win me over.  Then I saw her blog, which knocked me out.  It’s pretty much the polar opposite of mine–bright, colorful, cheerful.  Thanks to our mutual friend Pat for introducing us.

I’d love to work for them.  Can you imagine living a life where showing up for work means walking into a building that’s boiling over with the smell of saffron and lavender?  Heaven.

is the work of a gal who was an English major and then got the food bug and started a blog.  Sounds familiar (except for the gal part, I mean).  I like her recipes, writing, and pictures.  I’ve even thought about making a tribute site–something about Edgar Allan Po’ Boys.

Frequent flyer and all-around good egg Elizabeth has an artsy-craftsy site that I like.  Have a gander at http://memoriesbyelizabeth.myctmh.com/
